OMG! What's "Gay-o-ranger?"

Ever since The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers premiered in the states I've always been a fan of it especially of the monsters. Naturally as I started to mature more I just lost interest in it, until one day while searching through a website called Anime Intro I stumbled upon a page that had a group of Power Rangers I have never laid eyes upon, the Gaoranger(I had pronounced it as Gay-o-ranger at the time) I clicked on the picture and from then on out I was hooked on the wonderful world of Super Sentai. The villians and monsters always seemed to be most important part of a series for me and so I started making up new monsters to add on to a certain series as well as making up ones that had nothing to do with a specific series. Nonetheless, I decided to make a list of the オルグ from the 2001 series of Hyakujuu Sentai Gaoranger(百獣戦隊ガオレンジャー) and add the pros and cons of each costume of course all IMO.

タービンオルグ「Turbine 」 I'm really on the fence with his design I don't hate it but neither love it all that much. It's lukewarm. I really like how his two "eyes" are set and of course the "patterned orugu horns".

プラグマオルグ「Plugma 」I only really adore his costume from the torso up. His legs and feet just bug the crap out of me.

ハリガネオルグ「Barbwire 」I like everything about his costume except for his feet, again they look odd, but I'm simply impressed that PLEX or whichever company designed the costumes were able to make such a phenomenal design out of barbwire.

カメラオルグ「Camera 」One of my favorite camera based monsters in sentai. My favorite being Lens Banki. I like where his eye is placed and how his horns are caricatured.

ツリガネオルグ「Temple Bell 」 I J'adore this design. Everything about it I like. Especially the hammer he uses to beat on his head. One of my top ten.

タイヤオルグ「Tire 」Another lukewarm design. Nothing about it inspires me.

ウエディングドレスオルグ「Wedding Dress 」I am in love with the fact that it's a guy and not a girl and the design just rocks my socks off. Top 10 for sure!

帆船オルグ the 「Sailing Ship 」. I hate it! I can't seem to find any part of the costume I like, especially with those eyes.

シグナルオルグ「Signal 」 I'm on the fence with this one as well. Not bad not good. I do have to say I love his Seijuu's Voice though!

携帯電話オルグ「Cell Phone 」another one that puts me between a rock and a hard place. I can't seem to find anything I like on him.

ブルドーザーオルグ「Bulldozer 」 Now this is what I call innovative. I lover it! top 10 seguramente!

武者人形オルグ「Warrior Doll 」 This one happens to be my all time favorite Orugu. The warrior's face in the middle of his chest is phenomenal. I know it's not the first time a face has been caricatured on the chest but the design is flawless. Top 10! Number one!

コピーオルグ「Copy Machine」Another one of my top 10. His voice actor was phenomenal as well as this design. I love his face and his "patterned orugu horns".

フリーザーオルグ「Freezer」Top 10 as well. I find this design so interesting. Everything just seems to fit.

掃除機オルグ「Vacuum Cleaner 」 This one just gets me excited. This one inspires the most for some reason. The extended vacuum cleaner face is my favorite part.

バスオルグ「Bus 」Is another one of my top ten. Plain and simply it just rocks! and those tire bombs just add on to the awesomeness.

時計オルグ「Clock」 I don't love it, but I really like it. The unconventional teeth on his "mouth" are my favorite part of his design and that time-stopping cuckoo clock stunt he would pull.

メガネオルグ「Eyeglasses 」..I gotta say that the female monsters are usually my favorite but this one fell off the raft for me. The part that I really like though is how she was killed by being sliced in half in midair. Bad ass!

原付オルグ「Scooter 」who later matures to バイクオルグ「Bike 」At first I really dispised this design, well the scooter org I hate all together, but it's latter form really has grown on me. I love that "I'm gonna rip your face off" look he has.

人体標本オルグ「Human Body Specimen 」This design concept is really why I'm so fascinated with the monsters and their design works, because they take unconventional approaches, now the Human Body Specimen of a science class has never been used as a monster type before so I give them 10 points on the creative idea, but the whole design itself just fell a little flat. Got to admit that it's not one of my favorites.

芝刈り機オルグ「Lawnmower」 This is what I call creative. Top 10 as well. I love how his face is unconventionally at his feet in lieu of his top part of the body. At first I thought it was a female monster because it looks like it's wearing a dress, but that's what sentai is all about...pulling a fast one on us all.

キマイラオルグ「Chimera 」...this one inspires me to regurgitate my food. I abhor hit.

カラオケオルグ「Karaoke 」I like this design a whole lot. I really like the extra razor Cd's he shoots from his chest and I like the design of his face...he looks constipated.

ツボオルグ「Pot 」Another one of those on the fence designs. The only thing I extremely like is his face.

ボウリングオルグ「Bowling 」I really like this design. Especially those killer strikes he would produce. I like those arms on his legs holding the bowling balls.

墓石オルグ「Tombstone 」...I don't really like this design. The only thing that catches me is that tuft of a ponytail and shoes.

炭火焼きオルグ「Sumibiyaki 」hmmmm.... I only really like his face and personality...next.

カジヤオルグ「Blacksmith 」I'm in love with this design except for that hammer as a hand. For some reason when a design comes out like with any tool or material replacing a hand, it bugs me. The only exception is NokogiriBanki from Go-onger.

魔笛オルグ「Demon Flute 」 my third favorite Orugu and of course another top 10. Everything about it wreaks of perfection especially those Rumpelstiltskin shoes(so high fashion)..lol.

ジャグリングオルグ「Juggling 」Another one od the top 10. I hated the fact that he was Yabaiba's brother, but the design is just so cool. I like the back and forth knife throwing act he did with Yabaiba and that cool Japanese umbrella he had.

猛獣使いオルグ「Wild Animal Trainer 」I only really like his face, his bulging belly and the fact that he made GaoWhite jump through a ring of fire.

モニターオルグ「Monitor 」I only liked his voice actor...just another design that makes me want to purge the soul.

ブリキオルグ「Tin Plate 」...again I really like the face on the chest thing. I don't know I like it. Not one of my favorites though. I only wish that he spoke.

クリスマスオルグ(クルシメマスオルグ)「Christimas 」then transforms to 「Kurushimemasu(suffering) Orugu」.....I didn't really care for this one at all. Even less for it's second or real form...How gross.

正月オルグ「New Year's Day」 I really enjoyed this design and monster. I love all those New Year games(attacks) he had.

蒸気機関オルグ「Steam Engine 」Another favorite of mine. I lovered everything about him. From his gauge eyes, puckered lips, to cool shoes or should I say Sabots. Absolute perfection!

携帯電話オルグ the warrior doll orugu from the 2001 series of Hyakujuu Sentai Gaoranger.

香水忍者キラ・コローネ the perfume ninja from 2002's Ninpu Sentai Hurricanger.

トリノイド第20号ルージュラフレシア a Torinoido and my personal favorite of them all. The mix of lipstick, a giraffe and the rafflesia flower all rolled into one from 2003's Bakuryuu Sentai Abaranger.

ヤタイバンキ one of my favorite Bankijuu(s) from the 2008 series Enjin Sentai Go-onger.
and lastly we have

ヒトミダマ the Ayakashi from 2009's Samurai Sentai Shinkenger.
